Testimony

Darrell Ritchie has been involved in Contemporary Christian Music since 1989, writing, recording, traveling and performing. From the earlier days singing with various local and regional groups and ensembles, he stepped out on faith as a solo artist in 1991. He has since performed well over a thousand concerts around the Southeast at churches, Christian Schools, benefits and civic functions. However, the vision has remained the same: to edify, evangelize, uplift exhort, encourage (and sometimes even entertain!), using music to lift up the Lord Jesus as the one and only answer to man's alienation from God.

Darrell's concerts are built around songs from his most recent recording projects, “All Good Things…” (2004) New World Coming (1997) Big TIme (1995) and No Turning Back (1993). His songwriting blends smooth Adult Contemporary arrangements with clear-cut, no-nonsense, Scripturally sound lyrics, and his stage performance features a high energy, celebrative approach. The concerts are suited to fit most any need. From Sunday morning anthems to solo concerts to performances with a six member band; all fit the vision of this concert ministry: to celebrate and glorify our risen Lord.

Darrell makes his home in Lawrenceville, GA with his wife Michelle and their three children. They are members of North Metro First Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, Dr. Frank Cox (Senior Pastor) and Rev. Keith McBroom (Minister Of Music).
