Darrell's Comments

May of 2004 saw the release of my compilation CD All Good Things..., a collection of concert staples, radio singles, and personal faves that I believe, best represents my music and worship ministry of the last 14 years. There are also two new original songs and a cover of an old favorite. "More Than Life" opens the project, celebrating who God is and what He means to me in my life's journey of the last few years, and "He Will Not Let You Fall" was written for my son Jonathan, and completes the "Kid Trilogy" begun with "Daddy's Little Girl" and "Innocent Eyes" (all of which are on this CD!). I've also included a cover of Philip Sandifer's classic "Just Because You Are". Sometimes the simplest songs are among the best!

The remainder of the CD features many of the recorded moments that I'm most proud of, including "All The Heaven I Need" (co-written with my good friend Eric Baker), as well as "What Kind Of Man", which I believe deserves the title of "crowning achievement" (even in the studio we knew we had something special with this one!). Some choices may be considered odd, such as the inclusion of "I Found A Love" which has only been performed live twice. And while the song "Right Place" was never performed that often, it's still a great tune with some genuinely feel-good lyrics (from which this ministry takes it's name).

With 15 songs clocking in at over an hour of music, All Good Things... is a solid representation of a decade and a half of music ministry. May these songs stand as evidence of an ordinary life touched by an extraordinary God!
